Safety valves

In normal operating conditions, safety valves are supposed to close tightly and they must open if the pressure increases to an inadmissibly high figure; they have to avoid further pressure increase and they must shut again, after the pressure has been reduced. HOFER safety valves meet these requirements in all respects and can be used for almost all gases, vapours and liquids. Our safety valves are designed for operating pressures from 726 psi to 60,915 psi (50 bar to 4,200 bar) and are available with various connections.

Furthermore, we offer a special design and a selection of materials for valves for oxygen service. These have been certified by the German Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM) in Berlin.
